Notification of Job Change or Resignation
If a person working with a work visa resigns or changes jobs, they must notify the Immigration Services Agency within 14 days from the date of the change.
There is no direct penalty for failing to do this, but for those seeking a 5-year residence period or applying for permanent residence, proper completion of such procedures will be a factor in the approval process. Therefore, it is necessary to complete these procedures without forgetting.
The documents required for the procedure vary slightly depending on the current residence status.
